The Polymarket Wallet P&L Analyzer is an API that reconstructs any Polymarket wallet's trading record purely from the public trade tape: realized P&L, win rate over resolved markets, a per-market breakdown, category mix, average entry price, and how often the wallet plays both sides of the same market.
Capabilities
BUYs and SELLs are aggregated per market and outcome token; resolved markets settle remaining net shares at $1 (winner) / $0 (loser) using public on-chain resolutions. Open positions never inflate P&L — they are reported separately with cost basis.
Wallets that acquire shares through the neg-risk adapter appear on the tape selling shares they never bought; counting those sells naively fabricates profit. Markets where sell volume exceeds buy volume 1.5× are flagged and excluded from realized P&L.
The two_sided_share metric shows how often the wallet trades both sides of the same market. A high share means you are looking at a market-maker or hedger — a wallet whose trades you should never copy.
The public tape caps pagination depth (~3,000 trades per query). If a wallet out-trades the cap, the report says so (coverage_capped: true) and states exactly which time span the stats cover, instead of silently pretending it's the full window.

Playbook
Found a wallet moving size on a whale tracker or leaderboard? Run it through the analyzer before copying anything: is the P&L real, is the win rate built on resolved markets, and is the “trader” actually a hedger playing both sides?
Public profit leaderboards hide their accounting. This report is explicit about its method and its blind spots, so you can tell a genuine streak from mint artifacts and open-position marks.
Loop a candidate list through the actor ($0.35 per wallet) and keep only wallets with real resolved-market win rates and low two-sided share — an automated vetting funnel for copy-trade targets.
Via MCP, an agent asked “should I copy wallet 0xd3bc…?” can pull this report and reason over win_rate, two_sided_share and coverage_capped instead of hallucinating an answer.

It is a reconstruction from the public tape with explicit accounting rules: net-position aggregation, on-chain resolutions, mint-market exclusion, and open positions kept out of realized P&L. Where coverage is incomplete, the report says so rather than guessing.
Negative-risk minting makes wallets appear to sell shares they never bought; counting those sells fabricates profit. Markets with sell volume over 1.5× buy volume are excluded from realized P&L and reported separately.
